Fido meets Spot: A First Encounter of the Canine Kind
In an advance release from the next edition of the UNMANNED SYSTEMS NEWS (USN), a video posted by Steve Jurvetson shows Spot, a Boston Dynamics robot dog, playing with Fido, a terrier reportedly belonging to Android co-founder Andy Rubin. In this humorous encounter, a cute, inquisitive dog exhibiting canine behavior that evolved over millennia interacts with a robot quadruped that can operate autonomously or under remote control.
