Check out these Images from the Perseverance Mars Landing!
We were thrilled to report yesterday that Perseverance had successfully landed on Mars in Jezero crater just north of the planet's equator. This is a momentous moment in solar system exploration. Mission objectives include searching for signs of past life and collecting and preparing rock samples for return to Earth in the 2030s. The successful landing sets up a series of future missions that will both better define the extent of life in the solar system and pave the way for future robotic and human exploration of Mars. The screens capture some of the suspenseful moments of yesterday’s landing.
